This weekend, the Ginger Snap team were at Wedderburn Castle and Barns to cater for a beautiful barn wedding.
The ceremony was held in the main castle, followed by drinks and canapes; there was a lovely range of canapes on offer, including smoked salmon blinis, mini gruyere souffles and thai fish cakes.
After the drinks reception, the bridal party had photos in the Castle grounds, before heading to the barns for their evening meal. The Ginger Snap team set up the barns in advance, transforming the space from a simple stoneflagged barn to a stunning wedding venue:
After the speeches, dinner was served; a starter of hot smoked salmon with wild garlic pesto, followed by a main course of chicken stuffed with mozzarella, sunblushed tomato and basil, wrapped in parma ham on a bed of ratatouille, with sauteed potatoes. Pudding was a delicious lemon tart with berry coulis.
Later on in the evening, once the drinks had been flowing for a couple of hours, our wonderful Ginger Snap waitress Fiona took round warm bacon rolls on an usherette tray – the perfect sustinance for dancing the night away!
