On Friday evening at the Royal Highland Show, we catered for an exclusive canapé party using entirely Scottish ingredients. The menu included warm homemade herb scones (with herbs picked in Perthshire) topped with Fern Abbey ewes cheese and homemade apple chutney:
We also served Arbroath smokie pate on crostini with homemade red onion marmalade:
Stornaway black pudding bon bons with a homemade rhubarb chutney:
Seared Scottish lamb with bramble jelly served on a potato crisp:
And sweet canapés which included mini shortbread hearts with clotted cream and Scottish strawberries:
Our waiting staff served drinks throughout the evening too, which included a range of Scottish beers and ales.
